Circulating Valve

Overview

The Circulating Valve is a downhole tool used in un-cemented Multi-Stage Liner installations. This valve allows the operator to circulate while running the liner downhole. Once the liner has tagged bottom, a ball is dropped/circulated down to a corresponding seat, shutting off circulation and allowing pressure to be built within the system. This pressure is used to activate remaining tools up-hole (open hole packers, liner hanger packer, hydraulic release running tool and hydraulic frac valve).

Features

  • Field adjustable ball seat size for maximum flow through the valve
  • Once shifted closed, valve permanently locks withholding bidirectional pressure
  • Compact design for ease of handling
  • Matching liner connections
